Executive Coaching for you…

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life and work, carving out time for you to focus upon your goals and challenges can be difficult and seem indulgent.  However, the support of an Executive Coach who wants to help you succeed, can make a huge difference. Coaching creates space to think; provides a sounding board; enables challenge and feedback.   Rather than being indulgent, spending time helping you to be the best ‘you’ you can be, can deliver huge benefits for you and your organisation. People come to coaching for many different reasons, but they are often facing challenges in their current role; are starting to think about their future career and want to consider what they should be doing now to prepare; or simply want to be a better leader or manager going forwards. You may be:

  • Jackie WilksDealing with a complex situation or huge change within your role/organisation

  • Developing your leadership skills so that you can successfully manage a high performing team
  • Starting to think about your next role or challenge and want to start developing the appropriate skills, relationships and competences now
  • Returning to work after a break and want to hit the ground running

You may be the budget holder, or yet to gain approval for coaching to support your career objectives, but you can contact me to discuss whether executive coaching is the right option for you.

Executive Coaching for team members

As a leader, you want your team to be as effective as possible, as quickly as possible.  Providing key team members with the opportunity to work with an executive coach can accelerate their growth or provide additional support as they face significant new challenges. You might have people within your team who:

  • Are capable of more and you want to facilitate their growth. You want to nurture their talent and support their development to reach their full potential.
  • Have increased responsibilities which are a big stretch. They would benefit from additional support and challenge to help them travel their learning curve more quickly.
  • Are involved in a project of some significance and additional support and challenge will help them manage the complexity more effectively
  • Are potentially your natural successor and you want to support their development to enable them to be ready to step into your role when the opportunity arises.

If you would like to discuss executive coaching for your team members, then please contact Jackie to arrange a time to talk it through.

Working with teams

As the leader of your team you might want to create a culture where the team can exceed all expectations; where a lot is achieved and it is a great experience doing it!

  • Team trainingYou might feel that working with your team to create a more coherent and collective view of the future will create a better outcome; one which everyone believes in, understands, and is committed to. ‘What must be achieved’
  • You may already have a compelling view of the future but the team feels ‘clunky’ and could be working better together to achieve its goals. Many teams seem to be greater than the sum of the parts – you would like to move your team towards this level of performance. ‘How we achieve it’

Executive Coaching in organisations

Your organisation needs leaders and teams who are functioning well and delivering what is needed to drive the business forward.  There could be many reasons why staff in your organisation may benefit from working with an Executive Coach. It may be that:

  • They are new to their role but need to get up to speed quickly
  • They may be driving significant change through their part of the business
  • They may need some additional support
  • They need to develop their leadership capability
  • They have behaviours which are holding them back

Equally, it could be that you want coaches who will work with key groups within the organisation or to support some key business or organisational challenge.  Coaches working with key people can support the organisational change required.

If you would like to discuss the potential need for Executive Coaching to support your organisation then please get in touch.
